FIRE WARNING AND INDICATIONS
Flight crews will treat any in-flight fire or fire/smoke alarm with the utmost attention and urgency. For fires, there is an aural warning (a klaxon or bell or continuous repetitive chime sounding), to ensure immediate recognition - this is common to all possible fire locations. Fire detection also involves the illumination of a master warning sign/caption in the primary view of the pilots in order to alert them about the need of immediate action. In addition, on the overhead panel, a dedicated fire warning is indicated for the specific system with individual red light.
